Encuentro científico internacional, organizado por la Iniciativa Científica Milenio, programa gubernamental que fomenta el desarrollo científico y tecnológico en Chile, y Max- Planck Society, entidad alemana, líder en investigación científica. Se busca relevar el rol de Valparaíso como referente científico, especialmente en el área de la neurociencia. Además se persigue profundizar y ampliar el intercambio de experiencias en temas de interés tanto para la comunicad científica, y buscar acercar la ciencia a la ciudadanía la de la V Región. El primer día las actividades de orientarán a la comunidad científica y la segunda jornada desde las 17.30 horas a la ciudadanía con la presentación del Premio Nobel de Física Dr. Stefan W. Hell.
